Very disappointed. It was supposed to be a fresh sandwich cafe but instead I got a chichen sandwich with old bread. I barely could bite the bread and chew it. Its definitely not a freshly baked bread, maybe 2-3days old baguette. It wasn't crunchy from the outside and definitely not soft inside. Just waste of money. Sad.

Went to Oxford, arrived in the morning and pass across your shop in Westgate, There was really nice cakes to eat expecially palmiers, unfortunately when I looked inside there was at least 6 bees feeding at the cakes sugar, Politely call one of the staff and advised there's bees inside in the cakes, must say was surprised about the answer ; Yes I know we are trying to get rid of them, So I presume this is not new, what about the higienne, what about possible reaction to bees? What about then do something and seel properly the windows? Of course we had to find somewhere else to eat, I would suggest to maybe tell the staff to be more respectful to people trying to help. Coffee was ok, but had to pay an extra 30p to sit at a table. Sitting inside? mmm, debatable as the area is outside. Prefer the coffee at Starbucks as they make a proper Americano, some hot water first then coffee.

A disgrace! I went to your westgate branch today as I’ve been doing for the past few years and I’ve never been treated so badly! I’ve never felt more uncomfortable going to buy a coffee. Your staff was extremely rude to me. I’m used to being judged based on my appearance but the employees reaction was one of the worst thing ever. All the time I was ordering, I could hear them speak in an other language probably making fun of me. The coffee was one of the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had in my life and the pastry I got (which was the only one they had by the way) was purely tasteless. Probably not even fresh. The seating were closed when it was only 4, and I recall the shop usually closing at 6. One of the employee just walked out midway through taking my order which was incredibly rude of them and I felt completely ignored when asking for sugar (they simply pointed the counter without even properly answering me). I remember your staff being so lovely to me in the past. You lost a customer today, and to anyone wanting a coffee break in town, avoid this place at all cost!! Unless you like being overcharged and treated like a dog, I won’t recommend going there.

Called in for a coffee break whilst visiting oxford in September. Agree with the last review - tables dirty etc. I had a hot chocolate. It was awful. Like soup And sooo strong !! I couldn’t even drink it so returned it to the counter. The assistant offered me some milk to add but ideally a refund would have been better as adding milk wouldn’t have improved it. I paid about £3.50 for it !! So sorry we spent our hard earned cash here. Loads of much better coffee shops around with nicer surroundings and cleaner tables.
