Friendly, professional and always have plenty of time for you. I've also never had a problem getting an appointment, even at late notice. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this surgery.

I have been very disappointed with this surgery. When I have called to ask to see a female GP, I have been told I have to see the doctor I am registered with (who is male). On these particular occasions I have required an internal exam but have been made to feel very uncomfortable about my request and have had to insist that I see a female GP. Today I spoke to a friend of mine who also works at a surgery who told me that as part of the NHS constitution, patients are entitled to request to see any GP at the practise they are registered with. It is disappointing that staff at this practise are not trained adequately to deal with such requests and even more worrying that requests from women who are unable to be examined by a male doctor, maybe due to abuse, trauma or for religious purposes would be treated in a similar way.
