We visited the Bristol showroom about three weeks ago and our bespoke garage door was installed today. Can't recommend the company highly enough. Service and quality were faultless. Thanks guys, we're really pleased.

Garage Automation have just fitted a beautiful automated Graphite garage door for us in Portishead. All installed with the minimum of fuss. It took 4 hours and looks fantastic. Tim visited whilst the installation was taking place and there were two site surveys beforehand. Two easy to use controls were provided. We had a garage door fitted by Bristol Garage Door and Automation 11 years ago. It's used very regularly, and so we have twice had to call the company back over this time. Both times they have been helpful, prompt, efficient and very pleasant, once replacing the motor under guarantee and today quickly fixing a problem with no charge. Very impressed.

We had an automatic gate installed, Chris and Todd were brilliant, very professional, arrived first thing in the morning and worked from when they arrived until they left. Easy to talk to and ask questions. We would highly recommend this company.

A varied experience. i) The Garage Door and its fitting - Excellent product, good quality and as expected. The door was fitted well and neatly. The fitter was friendly polite, and came when he said he would to finish. Arrived on-time etc etc Excellent. ii) The customer service. No good. Had to chase everything. The quote. The door order was lost. The door was delayed. The fitting was cancelled - I only found out because I rang-up. At no point during the transaction did they contact me. Even the invoice was wrong, omitted the deposit; they knew immediately what the error was when I rang, but again in the two weeks since they sent it, they could have emailed or called me regarding the error but no, I had to contact them to check the correct invoice amount which was due to a new account system. So, product and fitting great - the back office not great.

Whilst the garage door itself is great and looks perfect, there is a problem with the facia that goes above it and contact with Bristol Garage Door & Automation is painful. They do not respond to emails, but if you call they will answer and say someone will be with you, but then sometimes they turn up and sometimes they don't. I am waiting for a new piece of PVC to go above the garage door, which after weeks of chasing they measured up, but weeks later I am still waiting to see this piece of PCV and them to fix it properly. Wouldn't recommend, wish we had gone with the company we had our old door from.

I recently purchased an electric roller door from this company, they couldn't have been anymore helpful and friendly. Although they weren't fitting the door for me Phil the very helpful surveyor took the trouble to come over to my house twice to ensure that my measurements were correct for the door and they even delivered the door to me at no extra cost. I had my garage door changed from a standard opening door to a remote roller door. The guys who completed the work were friendly, efficient and did a great job. I’m delighted with the result and how it has improved the look. It fits great but most importantly no gaps letting the weather in as my old door did.
