Annoyed, this business is owned by the same owner as warmer windows, promised Fensa but didn't deliver despite constant promises. Bought windows over several years, bevels didn't match and blame was put to me Due to time and the batch variation. However the variation was one batch was yellow the next was blue. Don't recommend nor use again.

K2 Plastics, what can I say? Nothing good for a start. This company and in particular Jay the owner or manager, was subcontracted to supply and fit my new windows and doors for a newly built extension back in 2018, and from day one the problems started. Upon the delivery of my new windows, they got the order wrong by mixing up the front and rear windows to match the rest of my house (mistakes happen and I know this), but to argue with me that he was right until I proved him wrong was a big no no due to me being his customer. In all fairness he apologised for the mistake, the order was remade and we moved on. Other faults that were unforgivable were, Upon installation, I requested that the windows and doors be set slightly back within the openings to match the window and door fit of the rest of the house (Uniform). This request was ignored and the installation continued whilst I was at work. After being challenged, they did reset the windows but left the doors due to the work involved to take them out and start again. UPVC door, to the side of the house was binding, meaning it would pull shut by itself once opened. The same doors lower panel was damaged and poorly fitted, allowing water in when it rained or windows were cleaned. Front UPVC window was poorly fitted leaving a bow within the Cil allowing the water not to drain off as required, resulting in dirt and debris to gather. The same windows lead strip within the double-glazed units have blown/peeled off, still waiting to be replaced. Rear Bi-folding doors were poorly fitted, the main opening door wouldn’t close properly to the frame causing a draught as well as allowing bugs and insects to crawl through the gap. Scratches on the glass pains. Roof lantern was leaking whenever it rained and causing heat loss due to poorly sealed framing. Like most people, I class myself as a reasonable and understanding person, so when things like this happen, as long as they are put right, I can forgive and forget. In this case, that didn’t happen, instead I was given excuse after excuse for the reasons why, as well as told that one of the faults was meant to be that way, in particular the roof lantern leak. Jay told me, to my face, that there was meant to be a gap in the glass and the frame!! Until I done a bit of research into this by contacting two other leading suppliers who both advised me otherwise. After months of being let down, ignored and lied to this fault was fixed, the cause being a poorly fitted cap on the apex. To this day, my experience with Jay and K2 plastics has been a very unpleasant one. I feel that due to a breakdown in a relationship between Clubmoor builders (who contracted K2 to supply my windows) and K2 over money is the reason why, I'm in the situation I am in. I myself have decided to wash my hands with K2 Plastics and get another firm in to put right all the wrongs left behind by K2. I’d strongly recommend and advise you to not use this company and go elsewhere to do your business. If unlikely, you have chosen to use K2 Plastics then good luck first of all with your order and secondly chasing up any snags.
