A nice small practice. Dr Cook listens and provides care which considers the wider context of your health. In previous places doctors were far too quick to write a prescription and kick me out. Nurse I saw was fun to talk to and put me at ease. From my limited experience, the comments about receptionists seem to have substance, where they will talk amongst themselves rather than "getting up and going"; perhaps this is a reflection of how busy (or lack thereof) the surgery was at that given time. Location is great, with a boots pharmacy practically next door, with a conveniently serviced bus stop outside with disabled parking facilities at the back of the surgery. Prescription ordering and collection is a breeze, and the surgery offers plenty of services via system-online. Very useful and convenient to reorder prescriptions or book/view appointments, as well as your entire medical history should you consent. Definitely an improvement over my previous experiences with practices.

what can i say apart from i have never received such outstanding service from a GP. we moved here a couple of years back when Faith House moved. the 3 times I have been ill been dealt with straight away. this time i phoned the surgery at 09.30 x dr cook phoned me back at 10 and I went in at 11 for check up and bloods. a phone call a couple of days later to go back in. professional and gets to the route of the problem. after nearly 50 years of smoking one session with him and the decision was made. i have now not smoked for 18 months.

Receptionist at the surgery have given me better advice than Dr Cook, I was given medical advice by him "nothing can be done for you" only to be told at a later date by someone else, no that is incorrect and you shouldn't have been told that. After 2 MRI's given the results in a 20 second phone call with no recommendations for on going care / treatment... would not send my dog here.
