Bottom line: This is a lovely b&b. We received a warm welcome, and the house and room were beautiful. It was clean and comfortable, close to town if you enjoy a nice walk. My partner and I visited Beckford House over the Easter bank holiday weekend and we will certainly be repeating the journey if we can! The accommodation was beautifully presented and possessed everything you could want on a weekend break (including the foresight to provide you a corkscrew and glasses for bringing your own wine). The cooked breakfast was perfect comprised of all fresh ingredients from the local farmers market, including a delicious coffee and an extensive selection of preserves. Anthony was so welcoming and helpful, he offered us maps, suggestions for where to go and even offered to drive us up to a marvellous view point overlooking the city on our final day (as we were visiting on foot). We left feeling more like we'd been round visiting an old friend rather than leaving a business. Can't wait to return!
