So, reviews can be subjective and all sales/service people are different (as is each individual car and owner). Purchased a 4 year old A3 sportback petrol manual with 33k miles just within my budget recently, with a 2yr warranty, 2 year full recovery breakdown cover and free MOTs etc within my ownership (plus key and MOT ins). The car was priced at 'market value' and cond. was no better or worse than you might expect. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. Anyone who has purchased a used car from a main dealer knows things can go wrong with said car and it won't be in showroom cond. My experience is no exception as my clutch went after just 1 week. I was offered a free diagnostic by central bookings and within a fortnight, new clutch pack fitted (including car being collected and dropped off as I'm WFH). No complaints, no drama. Hollie in service was exceptional. If Mgt read this, please ask her to run training for service personnel via Audi UK (via MS Teams of course). There was nothing wrong with the sales experience I had from Dan either except the car was not 'valeted' but simply jet washed on collection. It had also picked up a scratch on a wing mirror between paying my deposit and collecting the car a week later. This was swiftly addressed. I could pick faults all day long but the fact is I chose a car with fewer gadgets as I know Audis just like BMWs and Mercs and VWs do go wrong! Surprisingly, the cambelt was replaced prior to sale despite it not being due for another year. Car was also serviced before sale despite the fact it was serviced fairly recently. I was made aware of this before parting with my cash. I have to be realistic, I paid £13k not £133k for an R8 but can honestly say I wasn't treated any differently. I was even offered to have the car polished, which I politely declined. As a PM, I know sometimes it's best to manage a risk yourself so I'm happy to pay a trusted detailer...

  • In Roman times, Newcastle – then called Pons Aelius – was a fort on Hadrian’s Wall, and during the Saxon period, it was known as Monk Chester on account of its many religious houses. The city owes its present name to William the Conqueror who, like Hadrian before him, recognized its strategic importance.
