I have been at this surgery since I was 4, I'm now 34! In every industry we have our issues with someone or something. So yes sometimes it can be frustrating having to wait a bit longer than your appointment time but I fully understand there is a good reason for this and people need to be more understanding and patient. The support I have had from Dr Ebbage is incredible. If you have a invisible illness like myself to be told it's all in your head is common BUT Dr Ebbage is supportive and listens to you. Can not recommend this surgery enough.

I have been at Links Road since I was a child. Dr Ebbage is fantastic, always going the extra mile for her patients. The reception team and nurses are all so friendly. Definitely none of the typical “Drs receptionists” here. Dr Ebbage has been so kind to me this week after losing a close friend. Thank you Links Road.

Although some Doctors and Nursers are very good there- including Dr Alderman, I have been kept waiting for ages on number of occasions. They seem to overbook the system, despite coming in early to wait more than half an hour with 2 kids with no kids toys or equipment makes it almost unbearable. Patients seem to come in and go- in like 5 minutes intervals so I don’t get why such delays in the morning already. If it’s is a one off I could understand but it happened so many times I simply have to change Doctors- that was actual advice of reception stuff to do if we are not happy. It’s good that u can get same day emergency appointment but if u book in advance u expect to be seen on time - or at least not after long wait. I have been to few GPs and always only move due to moving house but this time it’s as service is not good, also never have to wait so long for on so many occasions.

Misdiagnosed here several years ago. Find another surgery. Wish I had complained at the time but I was too busy getting better, their error will effect me the rest of my life.

Awful service at this doctors now .. if you can get through to them normally after 10-15 tries the first thing the receptionist asks you is what’s wrong with you ? What happened to doctor patient confidentiality ??? Why must a receptionist know what’s wrong ?? Then they try and out you through to Tom the paramedic !!! Why would I ring the doctor just to speak to a paramedic ?????? Then if your granted access to a doctor your in and out within 5 mins !! I’ve been waiting for an mri since September last year but you get nothing from them .. too busy to chase up your appointment… now my pain has spread to the other side as well I’ve tried calling at 12-30 and the answer phone message said call back after 2 pm …. Awful doctors in my opinion 🤬🤬🤬

Have been registered with this surgery for a year, always polite and helpful.

I booked appointment 4-5days before the day and the day of booking, they phoned me and said they had to cancel my appointment. I asked them why and they even don't know why exactly and couldn't explain me clearly. plus, there's no doctor. if you want to have literally just some chat with somebody else then this is your ideal place :)

Appalling. I've called them after 4:30 pm, they've answered on the 5th attempt. It was about picking up a prescription so the woman at reception, who didn't show any willingness to help, told me quickly that I needed to come in and fill out a request, which is correct but I had another query and as soon I started asking she hung up on me. You have no idea of how stressed that made me feel, and that came from people who's supposed to assist you with health related queries. Disgusting.
