Got a £60 parking fine for parking legitimately in a "public" - not customer - car park where the official sign said free parking between 6am and 6pm, I'd parked within these hours. I even tried to pay online and got told it was free! But someone from this store took pictures of my car and two days later GSX or whatever they're called sent me a parking charge. Absolutely disgusted. I won't be visiting Portslade/Shoreham again. 28/8/21 16:45: Please read above; I know what I read. Do you think I'd park there if I'd get a charge? I wanted to pay by telephone/online but it told me there was no charge and I checked the hours and was pleasantly surprised. Something is fishy. And I'm not talking about the nearby beach.
