Good coffee and selection of food. I had a tuna melt, some cheese bread sticks and Welsh rarebit over lunch. Was lovely.

Loverly staff! Nice varied menu, had Cheese Scone with a Broccoli Quiche off the counter and it can with a great onion chutney and shredded pickled cabbage. The boy had a huge veggie sandwich with Hallumi, eggs, sweet chilli, tomatoes and a load of other stuff. Highly recommend.

Lovely lunch here on a Saturday with great food and very attentive, polite service. This is actually a rarity in Brighton and Hove! Will definitely revist Treacle and Ginger!

Lisa and Mike are such wonderful hosts and the warm welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by a fantastic selection of teas and coffee. Now with a superb shop, selling art and crafts, handmade soaps, chocolates and much much more. A fabulous place to visit, shop and treat yourself to a slice of heaven on a plate. The cakes are rather special.

What delights!!! So thoughtful the selection of beautifully crafted item's, each so original. You could dress many houses into homes with what she has in store. I loved everything 💖

Stumbled on this café by chance while on a solo trip to Hove. Had a really good cup of coffee and a nice chat with the lady working there. Came back the next day since it was so good and this time tried the chocolate guinness cake. So delicious!
