Came into salon today and was very welcomed by the staff, then meet my stylist Sara and she gave me such a warm welcome and made me feel very at ease. She is a very very good hairdresser and sorted my colour re do very well. Will always be using her from now on! I feel like I’ve not only met a great hairdresser who I will always use now, but I feel we could become good friends in the future. And Lucy and Emma who I met were lovely and helpful and welcoming.

After using the same hairdresser for many years I was apprehensive to try somewhere new that didn’t know specifically how I like my hair. Nathan, who has only been in rush for one week, was absolutely amazing (probably one of the best hair dressers I have ever had and I’m super fussy). He listened to exactly what I wanted both with cut and colour. He was attentive, professional and a perfectionist. All the qualities for me make up the best kind of hairdresser. Highly recommend Nathan and wishing him a massive thank you.

I used the 50% intro offer with Natalie yesterday who did the most amazing cut and style on my hair. Natalie was so attentive and tailor made a treatment bespoke for my hair needs too. At every step of the cut, she consulted with me and really listened to what I wanted. Natalie is such an amazing stylist and a credit to Rush. The whole team in Brighton were so welcoming and I'm excited to be going back for a pre 2020 hair treat! Thanks again Natalie and team x

Terrible service, especially for a new disabled client. I was really looking forward to my haircut. I had a new customer 50% off voucher. I booked with a mid level stylist for two weeks time. The day before the cut I was called to say that the stylist was unavailable and I was offered a less senior instead at the same time. I stated I wanted the more senior stylist and I was told I could see the next level up half hour later, but for the same price as this was their error. I was happy and went along to the salon for my 3.30pm appointment. I was greeted by a lovely young lady who I believe is Courtney. She placed me next to my stylist and got me a tea. All good so far. A few minutes after the senior stylist had gone to chat to the reception manager and having heard my name mentioned, I was asked to move seats. Courtney explained that she would be doing my cut now. I asked why and what level she was and she explained that she was a first level stylist and I wouldn't be seeing anyone senior. She was ever so nice but I explained I was after a more senior stylist, no offence but its what I'd booked. She apologised and offered me a conditioning treatment as an apology. I really just wanted the hair cut so I thanked her politely and tipped her a pound for my tea and asked for my coat. Now in my opinion the senior stylist got annoyed at having to do a half price hair cut and complained to reception manager. They then asked the stylist to drop the news on me, basically throwing her under the bus. The senior stylist gave me daggers the whole time and I was made to feel quite upset and uncomfortable. The reception manager left the dirty work to a stylist. As a new client I must say I found the service levels so mixed. Friendly Courtney and then daggers or avoidance from the rest. I would not recommend this salon to anyone with any type of hairdresser anxiety as this is an inducing space where you do not feel like you can be pampered. I'd pay headmasters round the corner £25 on the day stand by appointments available.

The staff at Rush are excellent, friendly and provide excellent haircuts. Tamara is currently the one cutting my hair and does an outstanding job. Very good value!

First haircut in two years! Staff made me feel very welcome and Janina did an excellent job of sorting out my self cut pandemic mess of curly hair, listening to my requirements and keeping me informed throughout the cutting process. She made me feel I could totally trust her to correct my hacking and not cut off too much in the process. Very very happy and will definitely see Janina again for my next trim in a few months. Thank you, from a very happy customer!

The receptionist didnt give the stylist enough time to do my hair cut with a blow dry even though i let her know how long my hair was etc. Instead of a new style and blow dry i got a trim and not a blow dry. Tried to charge me £50! I wont be returning simply because the receptionist didnt do her job properly, she needs customer service training aswell.
