5/ 5

Blaise Castle dairy was built in 1804 by the fashionable architect John Nash in the grounds designed by Humphrey Repton. The dairy is under the control of Bristol City council and visiting times to the dairy, and it's tiled floor, are limited to the 'Open Doors' event normally held annually in September. Butter churning by hand is often demonstrated on this date. The dairy itself looks idyllic with it's thatched roof. My picture of the dairy taken just after the snow in March 2018 had to be taken over the fence as the grounds are, sadly, rarely open.
