I wanted to send Christmas cards to my cousins in the USA, but I only had last year's stamps. This post office would not sell me the 15 pence of stamps to make up the difference, they told me that I had to buy 2nd class stamp at 65 pence each. The Blackboy Hill post office we're more than happy to sell me these smaller denomination of stamps. The

AVOID!!!! ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS RUNNING THE CORNER SHOP - popped in to buy a pouch of tobacco and some chewing gum this afternoon. The young asian man behind the counter covered the card reader with his hand so I could't see the total amount I was being charged via contactless card payment. When I asked him to move his hand, he refused, so I ducked my head down to peek under his hand.... £55.83!!!!! He then quickly corrected it to £25.83 and started laughing as if it were a joke. Had I not stood my ground, or been in more of a rush, I'd of walked out £30 lighter! Pease, save yourself the grief and use the Tesco express up the road!

Please update your opening hours! Tried to return a package, but opening hours are not correct on google, nor on the post office official website. The correct opening hrs are on a pice of paper stuck to the window of the post office desk. Here is a photo of the current opening hrs to save anyone a wasted trip…

Staff from the post office not very friendly and totally not willing to help. If you pay and post 10 letters they accept them, if the 11th letter is a Freepost, they don't accept it. They say things half way and get frustrated because costumers do not understand what to do with half explanation. They understand people need the post office services, so they serve you, as if it is the biggest effort ever made, do not expect any sympathy. Pay and leave. I am not from this part of the world, but I think the people who work there, and are part of a minority, somehow must have been repressed or discriminated and this is the way they behave to protect themselves or an act of "revenge"??, but surely not a normal behaviour in my eyes. I might be wrong, but this is just what I think. If you go there and feel the same, do not worry, the problem is not you.

A terrible customer service from the rude lady on the post office kiosk today. Assumed and accused tampering with postage. Life is too short arguing with these people, last time I ever use this office.
