This is why I shop with Amazon. Boots Salisbury have just done a great job in reminding me why I shop with Amazon. If this is an example of what the High Street has to offer, then no wonder it's dying. My wife wanted to save £5 on the Amazon price of a toothbrush. So against my better judgement I went in to the store last weekend, wasn't in stock, so was ordered. Went in to collect today and waited 35 minutes while staff tried to find it. They couldn't. Asked for a refund, and they couldn't do that either. Left the store and town, then got a call to say they'd found it. Now have to go back in tomorrow. Any saving totally destroyed by parking charges and wasted time. Staff members told me that they had a 'big problem' with orders. But the item was there, so clearly it's an in-house issue. The manager needs to step up and take responsibility to sort out the problem. Rest of Christmas goes to Amazon!

I go to boots to collect a regular prescription, the wait is always long I appreciate this is no fault of the staff. Although I did encounter a very rude gentleman behind the counter on my last visit, all I can say is if you do not enjoy serving the general public stop doing your job.
