I’m told it’s a great university. (It was pretty good even as a Polytechnic when I went here way back in the 90s). They have a great reputation for student support and wellbeing. But for the love of god don’t try to get here from the A470 on any working weekday before 10am if you can avoid it. The roads (and therefore traffic) are horrible. The queues for the student car park can stretch all the way back along the weird, horrible winding route TO the A470. Better to approach from the Llantrisant end of the A473 if you can, to avoid the worst of the queues.

Great university. To enter to the campus you have to be enrolled student or member of staff, however they offer open days accessible by public. There is a restaurant and lots of the university buildings. Is a very uphill place you can have a great exercise if you going up there.

2021 graduate: Unfair grading, got OIA involved and they agreed with me, by USW didn't budge. Got no discounts for the year, travelled abroad as they promised a year as normal as possible even with Covid lockdowns. They kept promising meetups, but nothing happened. Never met my classmates og lecturers, never saw them on webcam either, and never stepped in to any of the buildings, except from my own dorm and the library. Only nice people were the ones working in the cafeteria, that one woman in Sports Centre, and my dorm mates. Everyone else were all phony, never kept promises regarding distanced meetups or events, and never made an effort to look out for us exchange students.
