Very helpful meeting at the warehouse was followed by more helpful discussion over the phone as I was finally making my choices. Tom was happy to try out a new combination of base and gas spring for me. Custom colour was no problem. The chair arrived in double quick time, as promised, and was a doddle to assemble. And it's far and away the best value, best quality and most comfortable work chair I've had in 25 years. My back and posture really appreciate it, and the price level and service are outstanding. No hesitation in recommending the E13 mesh back chair to one and all.

ECOS differs from so many suppliers, in that there is a greater feeling of personal attention to the client, and that those at the warehouse end do communicate with each other to get the furniture supplied. Many other companies suffer from an overwhelming size, that leaves you feeling a very small component of the transaction. Not so here. The deliveries are friendly and efficient and, for that, dealing with ECOS represents very good value for money.

We used ECOS for the furnishings in our office after a remodel. The furniture provided was good and the service was fine. However, the layout we discussed did not fit once the furniture arrived. During the consultation period we where told that ECOS may need to remove the skirting because it would be a 'tight fit'. When the furniture arrived the desks did not fit and the fitters did not attempt to remove the skirting to get them to fit. ECOS suggested a site visit, which took almost a month before it happened, to resolve the issues. At the site visit we were told it would fit if the skirting was removed, but that that would have to be done at our own cost by a joiner (in reality both skirts, plus the power socket would need to be removed to give the desk even a shot at fitting). We where also told that ECOS should have removed the skirting to fit the desk at the time of the fitting and that that would have been part of fitting service. Immediately after the site visit we where give 48 hours to pay the final balance. This would have been resolved with a discount for not providing the agreed upon furniture lay out. We can deal with a different lay out in the office, but we are very disappointed in the way this was dealt with. Wouldn't recommend.

Tom, the office manager, very kindly showed and explained the chairs in the office in details. He also helped me choose suitable one for me, and I'm happy with his recommendation.
