Halfords salisbury

Impressive service, needed a new bulb for the car. For some silly reason BMW have located the access panel for the bulb within the wheel arch. Didn’t fancy getting dirty so took advantage of the fitting service. Unfortunately it was chucking it down with rain, really heavy. George came out in the poring rain to fit it, not so much as umbrella for the poor guy to work under. My only grumble would be the price of the items that I paid for, £55 for 1x bulb and 2 wiper blades, I could of got the same items online for £33. Cheers George for your help today, take the rest of the day off...

Absolutely awful. I had a stereo fitted here and was told it would take half an hour it actually ended up taking two and a half hours making me almost late for work. After driving off i realised that they had broke my heating whilst doing it so i had to take it back a few days later to get my heating fixed. Then a few weeks later the stereo actually stopped working like it wouldn’t turn on at all. My dad took it back for me and got it fixed they said they couldn’t see anything wrong with it but if it happened again to bring it back and they would replace the stereo. This was about two months ago and now it has stopped working again so i rang them and the store manager informed me that the stereo fitter was on holiday for a week so i would have to wait but i could contact the Andover branch to see if they would be able to fit me in earlier. Unfortunately Andover weren’t able to so i rang the Salisbury branch back the next day but the women told me apparently they don’t have a stereo fitter at the store and i would have to get it done at Andover or Bournemouth. This is very annoying considering when we paid for the stereo we also paid for the fitting aswell and it just seems like they haven’t fitted it properly and then to be told two different things about why they can’t fit me in by two different people makes me question what is actually going on. Honestly i would suggest not going to the Halfords Salisbury if you want to get your stereo fitted.

Thanks to Graham for exchanging the HDC dash cam for a next base front and rear system. The original wasn't such a good unit but they have bent over backwards to sort the problems. Thumbs up from me!

Thank you to the very helpful and polite gentleman who changed my headlight bulb and noticed I had issues with my radiator fluid level. Whilst I was paying for the coolant he went back outside and topped the reservoir up.

I needed some product advice on my headlights. The team member was able to advise me what product type was needed range available and tell me the pros and cons of each product. A very knowledgeable and positive service was provided. All three staff I came across were positive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A great customer experience. Thank you.

Rating 5 stars because of the customer service I have received in the past. The staff have been helpful with any query I have had. My only issue is that they now close at 5pm most of the week. They were the only place in in Salisbury that opened past 6pm!! I needed a new battery for my car and I can only get there outside of working hours so I still not be able to use them in the future. I will now be using the Halfords in Dorchester (which still close at the later time of 8pm).
