Having not visited a dentist in some 10 years, I was a wee bit apprehensive about going to a dentist after so long! I was recommended Slateford Dental Care by a member of my family and I really shouldn't have worried. Despite being a bit apprehensive about going in for my first appointment, my dentist Chris and his dental nurse Robyn were very reassuring and quickly put together a treatment plan for me. Chris always explains everything step by step and allows me to take my treatments at my pace. Together they have made going for a check-up or treatment a thing I no longer dread! I have been going to the practice for around 30 years. My dentist Robert King and dental nurse Martine have always provided an excellent and painless service: and over 30 years I have had most types of treatment! Any treatment is always fully explained which is really helpful and helps me relax. My hygienist, Alison, also provides a great service. If you're looking for what I think is the best dental practice in Edinburgh then you've found it!

Slateford Dental Care is refreshingly welcoming and friendly! I moved here after years of attending other practises in Edinburgh. They are super professional, their timekeeping is the best I've experienced and my dentist is amazing. Im also paying less than I used to pay! I'll never go anywhere else now!

I have been going to this practice for the last 2 years. I can safely say they are the best dentists I have ever been to. Dawn is great at explaining any procedures with me and discussing my options. The dental work I have had performed has been of the highest standard. I would happily recommend this practice to anyone.

Had my first appointment with Dr King - it was fantastic. He was really informative and took his time explaining and showing me via the photos he'd taken which course of treatment would be best - it's saved me a lot of money as I had expensive dental procedures booked elsewhere, that I now realise I don't need! Very friendly and comfortable experience in a lovely clean surgery.

Stephen is an excellent dentist. I have complete confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone, especially anyone who is anxious about visiting a dentist. I have been attending the practice for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been with Slateford Dental Care for a long time, initially with Kelda Richardson and now with Chris Logan who is an excellent dentist, who takes time and care with me, as I am a nervous patient, but feel totally at ease with Chris and his lovely dental nurse. Always greeted by the lovely reception staff. I thoroughly recommend Chris.

I had a broken tooth which needed root canal treatment, core build up and an all porcelain crown to be placed. It all sounded very daunting at the beginning, but the whole treatment went smoothly and now I have my tooth back! My dentist Chris Logan was very open and friendly, he explained the whole process very well and why the treatment was needed by showing me X-rays of my tooth. I also had a couple of fillings done with lost of care and a hygienist appointment with Alison Stevenson which helped me understand how to take care of my teeth better. Overall, all of the staff were very friendly and professional.

I recently visited Slateford Dental care for a full check up and then a teeth cleaning. I booked a visit with Dr Robert King, he has been professional, explaining me everything so well in an easy and gentle manner. I also felt welcomed. Then I had a teeth cleaning with Clare, she did a great job! All staff I have met so far have been lovely. Highly recommended! I would be back if I need it
