There are not enough stars to review this clinic. I have had the best treatment from William and Xandra, who are the most understanding, welcoming and caring perfectionist professionals. The clinic is very clean and have the friendliest receptionists who dealt with my emergency appointment efficiently. I had the best experience through out the treatment and I could not recommend this clinic enough. I am so glad I have found dentists I can trust finally! I have never wanted to go back to the dentist so much. Thank you to all the staff!

Highly recommended!! I walked in for an emergency chipped tooth, not expecting to be accommodated on such short notice. The reception team welcomed me with professionalism and efficiency. After a very brief and pleasant wait, the Dentist took me in and within minutes, my issue was resolved. The whole team took excellent care of me, and I will certainly return when the need arises! Very highly recommended!

I’ve been with this practice for over 20 years and couldn’t praise the staff more. Always a warm welcome when coming in and excellent communication if I’ve ever needed to change appointment times/cancellations etc. My teeth have been well looked after by both Willie and Debbie who always make time for a chat, making you feel at ease. Always a pleasure coming in for a check up!

My last hope in saving my tooth has been Dr. Willie MacEachen. It was before Christmas holidays and a molar started to hurt; it was inflamed. For this emergency, I called at 9 am and lucky me, I was welcomed by 9:20 am in Polwarth Dental Clinic. Basically, this tooth has had two root treatments in the last six years plus an encapsulated infection in the tip of the roots. Dr. MacEachen didn't ever guarantee that we would save the tooth but he said he would do all he can to save it. Normally, a dentist just takes the tooth out and problem solved most of dentists and more than ten I visited between Spain and here Edinburgh, would have taken the tooth out, normally a third root treatment is not in their procedure yet. I wanted to save my birth right tooth so, I placed all my faith in Dr. Willie MacEachen as he seemed really confident and his words sounded to be a dentist that brings evolution and braveness in dentistry. It took five sessions cleaning the affected roots where in the third session there was a bit of disappointment because the infection increased so I had to take antibiotics, forth session the infection was down and it wasn't inflamed anymore which was a good sign because in my fifth session, lucky me the roots were completely cleaned. My tooth was saved by him and his professional approach to not just take the tooth out if not to try the best to conserve it until nothing can be done, that is the way. I'm really happy with all the team, his wife Xandra MacEachen was there at all times helping him and her presence was as well really positive. Totally recommended.

The ONLY place in UK willing to provide emergency treatment for a failed filling which I incurred while visiting from Australia. Excellent & timely treatment, much better now thanks. Not cheap, but excellent value, very happy.

I am a nervous patient but Willie the dentist was so gentle that I felt nothing. I am extremely happy with my care in his hands. He was very thorough and he explained everything so that I was confident.

Emergency appts available soon, good price for initial consultation. Very hospitable and friendly staff. But aggressive upselling for futher treatment and markups quite large for fillings. If you've got the means and you want a good experience, then I think you will like this clinic. I like to think about the utility I get for a cost, so it was a mixed experience, but positive overall.
