Lovely staff... I was having trouble with my old contact lenses not being kept in stock, so the contact lens specialist was really consultative in understanding how and when I use contacts to determine what the best product would be for me (and it wasn’t the most expensive). I really felt looked after both through the sight test and contact lens check.

Staff is extremely sales orientated which means they will try to sell you an arm and a leg of what you don't need. At the same time, they are impersonal and the last staff member who was at my collection was actually hickuping in my face, without any appologies and did not know an answer to basic question when I asked if there is any warranty. However, instead of offering to ask one of her colleagues for advice, she made something up saying that if anything breaks in next 2 or 3 months that they'll fix it. So I had to ask specifically if she can go ask someone what is the warranty, she did, her colleague told her and she came back to me repeating only third of that information. I know because I overheard the rest. Then she offered a case, it was too small for my glasses, she wished me a nice day while I was still fidgetting trying to close the case that was clamping on the edge of the glasses, until she finally offered a bigger case. Specsavers has nice selection, good deals at times but be careful of overzealous sales focused staff who once you give them the money lack basic manners and any other post-sale knowledge.

I visited this store 3 times last month to have my glasses repaired. The staff were friendly and helpful. The last time I visited I had Simone who was super friendly and professional. After I explained what happened to my glasses that were not purchased by them, she was very comprehensive and professional, giving me some very useful advice regarding how to look after my eyes, such a lovely and pretty lady!

This is the best Specsavers branch that I have ever been to. I’d previously been to Boots & had a bad experience so wasn’t looking forward to my appointment. I had no need to worry though, My eye test was quick, efficient & the optician was friendly. Ordered 2 sets of glasses using their 241 offer & was given lots of help & advice by a welcoming young lady (I think her name was Victoria). She was very knowledgable, informed me about all the offers & picked out some glasses that I really liked. She even worked out the best price possible for me & didn’t try to sell me all the expensive stuff! When I came to collect my glasses a week later I got Victoria again. She was just as helpful then & made it so my new glasses fit me perfectly. She also informed me about my guarantees & that I could come back anytime if they became loose. Thanks for such wonderful customer service & I will be getting my glasses here from now on.

Staff are always helpful & friendly. Had my reading glasses reshaped so they fit tighter. Job well done!
