What a lovely massage, spa area beautiful ,spa staff Amazing very attentive and good at what they do. Other staff need a little work ... Per example the gym reception not very welcoming considering it was our first time here and didn't have a clue what we were doing or where anything was. Would return though as the facilities are great, little busy though.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Not sure why guests need to pay for parking when all the gym members appeared not to pay. In addition to the shampoo and shower gel...some body lotion would have been nice...as well as a small selection of herbal teas. Breakfast can be added at a very good price. Overall, considering the above points, hotel was a lot more expensive compared to other brands for the same night. I only stayed here because of an event in the hotel.

Starbucks in here is good and although small has all the usual drinks, cakes and snacks from any Starbucks. Staff are friendly. I am usually here on matchdays but even with that in mind there are always seats about. The pub section can get busy but the food there is great and do some great offers. Never stayed in the hotel but everywhere looks clean and well kept

Welll located Hotel with excellent conference facilities. Backed up by good coffee & snacks during the breaks and a great lunch. Popular venue so parking can become a bit limited.

This hotel is absolutely fine but also instantly forgettable, maybe that’s a good thing. I can’t say anything is bad but equally nothing is great. The rooms fine, the bar and reception, fine, everything’s fine. Actually the staff are really good, that’s worth a mention. So basically this is definitely quite good.

Very much enjoyed my 10 day stay in the Village Hotel in Glasgow. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and I slept very well in the bed which had two types of pillows The restaurant/bar also is recommendable. Loved the heated pool and also enjoyed the gym including spinning classes. Overall very recommendable!!

4/ 5

I had to stay over two weeks in the hotel, and I did enjoy the stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly. I very much appreciated availability of various essentials in the room, such as an ironing board, an iron, a kettle and some instant coffees with cream, and enough coat hangers. It was also great to be able to use the gym/swimming pool. I would recommend staying there, but there are a couple of things I think should definitely improve: -breakfast - it'd be great if it were open until 10.00; simple stuff like raisins or nuts for cereals would be great, the variety of cereals should include a good muesli, and it'd be great if these were not in single-packed boxes to help avoid unnecessary extra packages and rubbish; -bar - it'd be great if it were open until 00:00 or even 01:00, the closing time of the bar at 23:00 was really unfortunate, as usually that's the time where one'd be done with dinner elsewhere, and the possibility of having a drink after being back at the hotel would be much appreciated. -mini bar - it would have been great to have a little mini bar in the room, just to keep a couple of things cool, like some snacks/ drinks.

Is not easy to rate the hotel as some experiences were good, while other were quite disappointing. I stayed 3 weeks there and the hotel is not prepared for such long stays. The rooms are small and there is no enough space to hang clothes. The voluntary service from some of the staff in reception provided some extra hangers, although there was still not enough space for clothes. The rooms have no fridges of any kind and I needed one to keep some medicines during my stay. Thanks to the concern from the manager Jamie Stevens, he organizes a small fridge for my room, that was delivered some days later. In between, I was provided with some cooling gel to keep the medicines cold. Once the fridge arrives, the next day, the housekeeper unplugged it, losing my medicines the cold chain for almost 8 hours. Again, thanks to Jamie, he took care and got new medicines for me. He is quite oriented in client satisfaction and being sure that everything runs good. Bed was very comfy and I love the big pool downstairs. The atmosphere in the lobby was more of a club rather than a hotel, being a relaxed place after work and a cool concept for a city hotel. I was quite disappointed with the food quality. Breakfast was either full of fast sugars and carbohydrates or fatty British one. Food ordered at the restaurant was served in amazing 2 minutes, doubting of it was really fresh made or simply fast food. From all staff, I have to remark the excellent service, kindness, happiness and willingness to help clients of the Spanish girl at the breakfast service (unfortunately I forgot her name). She make every morning to be a better one. And also, the staff at the gym/pool were very attentive. Unfortunately, on the last day I have a quite disappointed issue. Although I have booked a taxi days in advance for my departure midday to the station, the taxi never appeared. I know this was not an issue of the hotel, but the receptionist was not very helpful in trying to call a taxi from any company. He repeated “sorry about that” leaving me waiting for half an hour for a taxi that never came. Fortunately, a colleague of mine, whose taxi arrived on time, offered me to use hers (she was still having plenty of time to depart). The taxi drivers was so cool that she makes me arriving to the station one minute before departure. Definetively, there are things to improve at the hotel, but I’m sure the manager is in the right direction to offer a better service.
