I have used moon guitars for repairs and work on several guitars and other stringed instruments. The place I go to. A few years back for convenience sake I put in a guitar to another repair shop in Glasgow and although the work was fine, it wasn’t up to Jimmy’s standards. Never again! Highly recommended and Jimmy is a nice dude too!

Definitely easier ways of spending 60 quid as it was at that time a number of years back to get a set up done , only to be patronised and treated with contempt by the owner of the business in those days , i hadn,t even purchased the guitar from my friend who was selling it at the time due to a family bereavment . I received the guitar back with damage to the fretboard , and certainly not the ernie ball strings i had supplied either . I guess if you,re a well known musician then you get a different level of welcome , sad to read that the same thing is still happening more than 10 years later under different stewardship .

Far too expensive, smug, arrogant and condescending. Wouldn't bring my guitar ever again as when someone tells you that your guitar is cheap and "probably made of ply wood' then you don't want them to touch it. My guitar is not rich but my play is.
