This place was a total joke today. I'd visited another store that had advertised having a laptop in stock which it didn't. I then went to this store. I literally was trying to hand over my money to collect a laptop. I spoke to about 6 different staff members and then gave up. "not my area" "I'm busy" "I work for Epson" I mean the staff here were acting like you'd expect a council to do. Just passing me off and not being able to do something simple. Nobody was rude in anyway whatsoever but this size of this place means service has suffered. The staff that were too busy stood around a computer scratching their a**e. I went next door to Argos and got the same product, same price £800 and I had the product in my hand in less than 3 minutes. Happy to spend my money elsewhere and won't bother with Currys PC World again as it's a joke. If I was in charge here I'd seriously review what happened as I'm a patient man and you lost easy business. The money was in my hand.

Love a trip to Currys. Get to play with everything! Tried the new Dison, some gaming PCs and chairs. Then had a look at some TVs. If only they had a cafe like IKEA, would be sweet.

This is one of the biggest electronics shops in the west of Scotland. There is a very good range of stuff on offer, and the prices are good. While you can probably get better deals buying online I find it worthwhile to see expensive products before I buy. The Braehead Currys PC World have some very helpful and knowledgeable staff, but they also have a larger number who aren't interested. That makes sense, if you know what you want to buy there are plenty of staff who'll sell to you. If you need to ask questions, or get recommendations there are only a couple of staff that seem able to help. I'd recommend going at a quiet time if you need any kind of recommendation or help in choosing. I was served by one of the more informed staff (Hi, Tom!). He was extremely helpful and patient, took the time to listen to what I wanted, made recommendations without pushing anything on me, pointed out services I might consider without giving a hard sell, and seemed to genuinely try to get me to buy the right thing, not the most expensive.

Ordered in line called to collect item. Queued at counter that says in foot high letters "collection point". Eventually a member of staff corrected me and advised that I should go to the checkouts for collections. At the check out a long queue for the one checkout operating. Asked the member of staff who directed me to the checkouts why the collection desk isn't for collection she said it had changed. She said she would try to help but some to another member of staff then she drifted out the door and walked of towards McDonald's thanks for your help. Eventually the lone operator on the the checkouts left the checkouts phoned someone who arrived with the item. The management out to have a look in the mirror.

Tried to buy a CCTV from this Branch. RRP from another branch was £147. Apparently this stores system showed it as being £214. Had a chat with the "Manager" who wouldn't budge on the higher price and basically that was it!! Browsing the exact same store, we found it priced up at £114. I remember the good old days of dealing with a manager who would actually assist. Shocking service from this individual.

The range is extensive and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable without being pushy. Unfortunately if you travel some time to get there and if your bladder is over 60, you have limited time to browse. If Curry's had customer toilets I am convinced those of the older generation would spend more time and more money in store.
