Nice pub with good views. A bit too noisy for my liking but that might be me getting older. Door staff are unobtrusive and the prices are what you would expect. Didn't try the food but there is always next time. Might go mid week if its quieter.

Great atmosphere. Staff friendly. Deco clean. Food good, arrived quickly and was well presented. The bar as no car parking but is walking distance of bus stops to local park and ride. Views of river.

Decent pub with views of the river (if you can get a table near the window). Nice decor. Decent food & drink with a good choice & reasonably priced.

Unfortunately on our occasion the service was not very good. Plenty of bar staff chatting amongst themselves and not serving until they were ready even though there were plant of people waiting to be served. The tables had not been wiped nor had the menus, a very disappointing visit.

So smaller portions than b4 but still good except the chicken ain't good bit boring and bland , the rest is real fine , just enough. Before was too much. Are we ever happy ? Nice presentation , served wrong dish to me and partner so She got well done when wanted rare I got undercooked. Easy mistake but why ?

Visited today with my wife and son and was greeted on the door by a friendly member of staff, who explained everything to us as we made our way to our table. Spoke to other staff who were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. We all ordered burgers which were really nice and the service was very efficient. We'll done to you and your team

Came in got 2 cocktails AS On Their Drinks menu. 2 for 1. Decided that from today until class offer not on. Yet menus on table. Trading standards will be informed as False advertising! In addition to that the cocktails we recieved the measures were halved between the two so not only ripped off with 2 for 1 price but half measures in full priced cocktails 🤔

Nice pub we had a lovely meal. Great value for money. Prompt service

Excellent service. Very welcoming from the second I walked in, the female on the door(think she was a manager) was very polite and explained the situation with regards to table in the weather we was having (not their fault, they can't control it). My drinks came out reasonably quickly too. Definitely would visit again next time I'm in the area

Good pub in the centre of York. Good value and a good atmosphere. Three ways to enter so ideal for people with mobility issues. Plenth of seats and great selection of food and drink.
