Matalan leeds

Visited today with the intentions of having a good wander round and look through the sales items !! No such luck it was so warm in there it was uncomfortable. Sales clothes were all sizes mixed together more like a jumble sale ...miserable staff clearly all sweating and look totally fed up doesn't give a welcoming feeling . Local shop for me in wortley but I'll go else Where from now parking good .but the school uses it for pick up so avoid 3pm till 3.30pm or you will be stuck in a queue to get out of the car park

Nice new range when I went in. Mens Jean's are great value and last as well. Shame about there own brand of t shirts though, no matter what I do with them in the wash they come out 2 sizes smaller. Always nice friendly staff , young girl on the tills was really friendly.

Plenty of good choice for clothes and a whole host of other items - all at good prices.

Always seem to get what I want I personally like the casual wear which there always seems to be a good choice.

I came in looking for a pair of shoes as the sole of mine had just broken and I needed some new shoes quickly. I had a look around while I was there and was astonished at how dated all the clothes are. Not a single thing on trend or even remotely feminine. I had a look at all the shoes and decided I would rather walk home on a wet road with the bottom of mine hanging off than be seen by anyone wearing any of those horrible, bulky, manly looking shoes.

Great place to shop.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Used the self checkout with their help, however, when I got home I saw the security tag was still on a garment so I have to traipse back with it. Also, avoid school start and finish times as a local school uses Matalan's car park. Those parents are relentless and will drive or walk in front of you without a care!
