After suffering a personal injury whilst in a local supermarket, Hampson Hughes took on the fight for compensation and successfully won the case.... AND from start to finish (which only took 4 months) HH kept me informed on a regular basis....top marks and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely useless in every sense of the word. They won't fight for your claim, instead they will hope that the 3rd party will accept all liability in the first instance and if they don't, well they will simply drop your case. I found this out the hard way. I submitted my claim a few days after the accident I had in work in which my hand was crushed. I gave them all the details required and informed them that CCTV was available at multiple different angles. They went off and "investigated" and that was that for a couple of months until I received a letter from them saying my case was going to be handled by a different member of staff. Even more months went by (we are almost at a year into the process at this point) when I received notification that they will be dropping my claim due to lack of evidence. Lack of evidence... How can that be? Well to put it in as few words as possible, they didn't do ANY investigatory work. They didn't even ask for any CCTV or get a written statement from the witness I provided to them. To summarise, I'm financially out of pocket, wasted a year and the CCTV footage no longer exists. I firmly believe this firm is not fit for purpose. As I've said previously in this post, they are only interested in cases where the 3rd party will accept liability first. They deliberately prolong claims in which they know they will drop further down the line in order to claim their inflated expenses from their insurance. Take my advice and go elsewhere.
