Had a fantastic experience working with Goodwins. They helped me to successfully defend my position in court and the results were more than I could have imagined. They provide an extremely professional service and I would enlist their future services if these were ever needed, specifically Carla's services. She was an outstanding solicitor for me who guided me through the legal processes of my case, and did not just tell me what I wanted to hear.

Rude and Retarded receptionist. Has trouble understanding simple questions. Unqualified solicitors. I was going to instruct a solicitor to represent me. One conversation with the receptionist made me walk away.

I contacted these people through fathers for justice. After the initial 1 hour consultation I was reassured that I could be represented for the budget I gave 2-3k Once I sent over the £1000 to their accounts things changed. Not the so helpful lawyers to I don’t think we can help you for the budget and started quoting me 7-8k plus barristers costs. Then I get the invoice for £880 for a few emails sent and some papers printed out. Did not offer advice other than suggesting I spend money. Totally disgusted to be led down the garden path and then took what little money I had to get to see my kids after 19 months of not seeing them. Felt like it was the plan all along. Would not recommend this firm. I get money is a motivator for lawyers but to treat people like that. No morals.

I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to mention the excellent service that Helen provided. Not only did she gave good legal advice and direction, but I found her to be very professional in her manner and approach. I will definitely be using her and Goodwins again

Similar to another reviewer felt like a wallet. Was charged for administrative tasks like forwarding of emails. I was charged £26 for a 6 second phonecall to tell me to come to office to sign something. They also charged me to read email that said I did not want their services anymore. Although I did like the solicitor handling my case, I did not agree with the charging. Filed a complaint and the owner responded with insensitivity. I am in debt now because of this firm. Do not recommend.

I found the service was excellent. Helen was so kind and efficient that made a very difficult time alot easier. Everything was explained clearly so I knew exactly what was happening. I would totally recommend her and Goodwins to anyone . Thanks so much for all your support and guidance
