I have instructed Phillips and Phillips twice now, first one was a unregistered property which was complicated due to all the documents not being available by the seller and now again with a leasehold purchase. I highly recommend Priya in particular who had very good knowledge of the law and completed both transaction for us without delay. Priya has always performed diligently and quickly. Her work is superb and we also found she's pleasant to deal with.

Campbell Galbraith avoided phone calls and had poor communication with the other solicitors in our house sale. He also forgot to transfer money to HMRC after the sale. I did not even get an apology for the stress this caused. Things only improved when I contacted the senior partner. Be careful who represents you from this firm.

If I could give fewer than one star, I would. This company have been at best ineffectual and have delayed conveyancing and in reality have been aggressive and obstructive with their work. Our buyer has told us that they are charging extra for phonecalls that they receive, which is an excellent plot because they don't actually do anything unless they are prompted. My estate agent has been insulted by solicitors at this firm and they have brought her to tears. I would counsel anyone away from using this company for conveyancing. If your buyer is using them for conveyancing, I'd strongly recommend that you walk away from the sale.

I have been hugely impressed by the way Priyanga managed my conveyance. She was thoroughly professional, communication was fabulous and when complications occurred in the sale process she never gave up!

Rude, aggressive, non responsive, tried to hide their lack of knowledge by insisting on me doing their job for them, and they weren't even acting for us but our neighbours!
