Absolutely amazing afternoon spent learning about the history of British motorcycles! Very knowledgeable volunteers running the place & it has been in their family for many years. Loved it.

Popped down to the museum today, very welcoming and started with a guided tour of the early motorcycles. It was brilliant to not only see the machines but also the knowledge and history behind them with the staff knowing a great deal. Further on we went into the triumph part and it's full of history including many machines and parts from the original factory. The various models frozen in time and again staff will tell you all about the history of the bike and beyond. I walked out the museum far better for it and with a far greater understanding of British Motorcycling. There's mention on here of the £12 cost but I would gladly pay that to support such a museum, it's truly a treasure for British Motorcycling history

Lovely place to visit. £12 adult, £8 senior, £5 5+, unders free (as of April 2019), plenty of parking, ramps for accessibility, staff are very polite and give good knowledge of the bikes they are happy to walk around with you and tell you about them. Enjoyed hearing the stories of the bikes, tea and coffee amenities, toilets. Would bring the family next time.

If you are into motorcycles and especially British bikes this is the place for you. This is not the posh type of museum. This is the type of place where true British bikers can meet up and appreciate all the Triumphs, BSAs and Enfields in the collection. I have to admit being an American I did not have a grasp of the historic value off all the British racing legends on display. I do love all things motorbikes though and you will too.

The collection is the main event, and includes over 80 motorcycles housed in one of the long sheds, dating from 1902 to the 1990s. The core is the former collection of museum founder Bill Crosby's collection of Triumphs, with over 50 bikes loaned and donated from other sources.The main building has a (very) small shop and eating area with seating and drinks machine
