Fantastic vets. Our dog needed emergency treatment on christmas day and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. They were friendly, professional and most importantly, helped our dog quickly! Thank you so much.

Our family had the worst experience ever at Yorkshire vets with our poorly dog. Was reassured that our dog would recover well from an operation at Thornbury vets. After being under anaesthetic I received a call to say the op could not be done as our dog had too many problems with her heart and chest. After bringing our dog home to rest from the anaesthetic we received a phone call a week later to say that they didn’t think our dog was as poorly as they initially thought , they could operate. We paid a fortune and they gave us so much hope she would be fine afterwards. 2 weeks later we’ve had no choice to put our gorgeous dog to sleep. We arrived at morley vets to put our dog to sleep and wasn’t even greeted with a hello , the lady on reception took a glance and said “ take a seat. The staff had zero compassion or empathy towards us whilst we were parting with our pet of 10 years. I’m so glad we took our dog away for PCS where she was looked after with so much care and respect.

First visit to Yorkshire Vets - Thornbury Hospital. Had previously been to Vets for Pets at Pets at Home Kirkstall and had an awful experience with a vet who didn't bother to examine my cat at all. Didn't catch the vets name (found it! Raj Duggal), but he was lovely, understanding and listened when I thought my 10yr old male cat might have a UTI or something like that. Did a thorough examination and put my mind at ease including giving the cat some painkillers via injection. Really great service from booking an appointment on the day, to the reception staff, to the vet himself and I thought the cost was reasonable also. So happy to have found a decent vets!

My babies are all looked after by this wonderful vets. I've been so impressed with the way they have worked with me and my pets. Sadly my son can't go with me at the moment due to their post covid rules but he used to love asking the vet questions about his pets. We have a dog and 2 cats

I found a bird in my back garden. It just stood there and didn't move. It let me stroke it. This wasn't right, it wasn't interested in the bread seeds or water i offered it. I called RSPCA and they suggested to call my local vet. Therefore i took the bird here. The staff here took the bird and got me to sign a form for wildlife welfare. I asked if i could call to see how the bird got on. I called shortly after to see how birdie was and the receptionist lady i spoke to wasn't very helpful and said call back after 8pm. I called back after 8 and a did speak to someone helpful, i think she was a Chinese lady. She explained the bird was a young bird and may have been nestling in the grass. It had been flapping its wings but mainly just stood there without movement. The were going to keep an eye on it and hopefully set it free if it made good progress. I suggested i put it back where i found it but never heard back. I'm sure the vets will have given great care and done the best for the bird.

Consultation was fine but they’ll make no consideration to the cost to the customer when prescribing drugs, in my case (with Emma) my cat was given a dose of metacam via IV before then prescribing a 14 day oral course of the same drug. I could have just given the cat the first oral dose when I got home, so that’s £15.24 wasted. I appreciate IV is faster acting but this wasn’t an urgent situation. I mentioned this to the receptionist and was told “that’s the way it is”. If had been given some information about this extra cost in the consultation I could have at least made a decision.
