Y Salon – newcastle

I had a really nice experience at Y salon. Angela and the whole team were lovely. So much care is taken over every detail from the products used to the washing and consultation, not to mention the cut itself. I will be coming back for my next cut!

I'm always very apprehensive trying out new salons, but I am so glad I went to Y Salon and will definitely go back, Angela was amazing. She talked to me a lot about my hair, showed me loads of pictures, and really spent a lot of time and effort to give me exactly what I wanted. Was all round a great experience, planning on going back for balayaga can't wait.

Highly recommend. Before the 3rd lockdown, i was in desperate need of having my extensions refitted. Found Y Salon on an online search and thankfully got an appointment before the lockdown. The stylist, john, was really friendly and very knowledgeable about different products that would be suitable for my hair. The owner, les, was also very friendly and chatted to me about the products they stocked and how the Salon worked towards using reusable/recyclable plastics and a lot of the products they stocked were more natural and hair friendly. The layout of the salon has been adapted to be Covid friendly. Areas cleaned down and used aprons isolated. Staff were wearing the correct PPE, which is reassuring. I was recommended and bought a quinoa-based solution that is designed to repair damaged hair. Ive really enjoyed using this product. I would recommend the salon. I dont pass through Eldon Gardens, so i wasn't sure where to go but actually, it was really really easy to find.

My first time using Ysalon and I'm very impressed, the staff are super friendly and made my experience perfect start to finish. I had a cut and blowdry by Jon and wow! I'm shocked by how much I love the finish. Jon's blowdry is exceptional! I will definitely be returning to this salon! Thank you x

Hairstylist was amazing very friendly and did exactly what I wanted without trying to sell me on buying any expensive products or extra services unlike some other salons out there.
