Wonderful Nails and Beauty CBXII – Milton Keynes

Love love love this place and everyone there. My friend recommended them to me 3 months ago and I have been coming in every month. I’ve now recommended them to my friends and family. I was out shopping today when I chipped my nail so I had to come in without any appointment. They were quick to fit me in and 10mins later I was out of the salon with a brand new nail as if nothing happened. They are the best in what they do and really listen to what you want. Everyone there is so friendly and talented that I don’t even request for a particular technician.

I had a shocking pedicure that was meant to be a relaxing 40 minutes but only lasted 15 mins. My feet were put in warm water with no foot soap. The male nail technician pushed my cuticles back with no cuticle cream and only filed my nails. Then he used a foot file with foot scrub on it (as a trained beautician myself this is not something that you get taught at a beauty college.) Then he quickly washed it off and applied cream to my feet and did a 1 minute massage. The therapist said he was finished and walked away with no professionalism. The receptionist saw I was not happy and came over to me. I explained he did not even buff my nails or put cuticle oil on, or exfoliate my feet (as 2 other women in their chairs did) and then without sanitising her hands she rubbed cuticle oil on my toes and walked me to the reception to pay and she did not wash her hands! I explained I was not happy with the service and she still wanted me to pay £30. But then reduced it to £25. Do not recommend going here.

I have been going to Wonderful Nails for years, I can't fault Tara and her team. Excellent quality nails, always accommodate their clients and they have very talent nail technicians. I couldn't recommend more and I will continue to go back!

AVOID!! The staff appear to be prejudice. As the only non-white customer there it was very obvious how I was treated differently. The three white women in the salon were prioritised and treated in a friendly manner while I was barely acknowledged. I was passed around only to leave with a poor set of acrylics. You'll even find a lot of the negative reviews are from non-White people.

Awful. I went to get infills with my friend and i have never had nails this bad before. My nails are wonky and one of my nails is flaking of? When I asked the technician to fix a particularly wonky nail he made me feel very uncomfortable. I had gels put on, and I have never had my nails flake before? My friends nails are perfect but mine are terrible, it must be a hit or miss depending on your technician but I would not recommend. Never going back.
