This is an odd shop. Inside it's almost Dickensian in its appearance, items stacked up all over the place, just flung about randomly, and you have to walk along narrow walkways between towering bric-a-brac. Above all there are no prices upon anything so you have no idea of their cost — something I shall come back too. When I went in there were numerous, I suppose, 'friends' of the proprietor blocking these narrow alleyways, whom I had to keep asking, as politely as I could, to move so I could find what I wanted. Some looked back in disgust when asked to move. This all makes for an unpleasant shopping experience. I have to say, to be fair, I did come out with what I wanted and was pleased with the quality of what I purchased. However — how could there not be an 'however' — we come back to why there are no price labels upon anything. It's so the proprietor can take one look at you and charge what he thinks you can stand. I was charged at least £40 more than the cost elsewhere. And that's even allowing for a high street store and not purchasing over the internet. The proprietor is certainly both smiling and friendly. But the more smiling he is the more you should watch your wallet. If you do shop here then make sure you know what it is you want to buy. Also make sure you know what its price is down to the last penny. Else, like me, you'll end up being robbed.
