I moved to the village in 2012 from Portsmouth, where I didn’t know anyone. Wendy and Trevor were so friendly and supportive and before too long they had introduced me to people and helped me to get integrated into various groups and places in the village. Living opposite the shop was great, I could get everything I needed and more importantly if they didn’t stock something (within reason) I would come back a couple of days later and it appeared on the shelf! Their range of local food and treats are great, which I couldn’t resist. I witnessed the great community work they did. Not just in the shop but also for the wider community in the winterbournes. This included running shopping to more vulnerable people in the snow to supporting the village fete and annual clean up. I live back in Portsmouth now and I can honestly tell you there is nothing like this shop and I really miss by daily visits. Needless to stay I still visit, where I am always welcomed with a hot sausage roll and coffee (on the house!) Great Shop and Fantastic Owners!!
