Came here for afternoon tea with a voucher. Venue is really good, nice views and chilled out atmosphere. Service was great as expected from such an establishment. Only down side was the quality of the sandwiches. Scones were a little hard and not fresh. Cakes were decent. Food overall needs a complete overhaul (1/5 stars) service atmosphere and location took it up to 3 stars.

Situated on the top floor of the Carlton George, this restaurant offers spectacular views of the Glasgow rooftop panoramic vista. St George's, Tron is the hotel's nearest neighbour, as seen in one of my photo's. Sitting at a window table, you have a perfect view of fledgling pigeons making their first attempts at flying, very entertaining. Service at the restaurant is very good, as was the choice of meals, served very acceptably by Carol and her colleagues, Gary and Nicole. Our first visit to this hotel, and indeed to Glasgow.

Had afternoon tea and it was very nice. Sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones with cream and jam, selection of small cakes and either tea or coffee. All served by friendly and helpful staff. Lovely setting on the top floor of the hotel with views over Glasgow City centre rooftops.

Service is great and the views are good. However the photos in Google are not really descriptive of the actual rooftop as it’s in fact an old fashioned environment and you do feel like you’re in a budget hotel. Having said that, I had a good time!
