Great walk with beautiful old trees. Yew trees are very old. Lots of paths to explore. Some old, weathered Hobbit-like, Lord or The Rings-type steps, bridges and walls. Lovely oasis.

Lovely park with a nice lake. Great walks with plenty of trees. Children's playground area and ice-cream. In the summer people play with their remote control boats here on the lake. There is also during the summer months a little train ride with quaint little carriages, popular with the children, though adults can ride it too, which takes you all the way around this lovely lake (doesn't run on tracks, just normal surface wheels). If you are brave enough to walk up loads of steps and steep slopes through loads of trees, there is also a fabulous majestic mansion sitting up high on the hill with lovely open well kept grounds.

The park is lovely, great to walk around and play area nice. Lots of parking available. Plenty of wildlife to see. Recommend wearing sensible foot wear for walks in the woodland area. Shame not everyone cleans up after their dogs though!

Great big open woodland area with a nice duck pond and play ground. It can Get busy but its massive with more than enough room for everyone. Now gyms are shut its a great place to run and they have some body weight apparatus by the playground to use. The museum is free and a nice little day out with the kids.
