Good range of paints at ok prices. The staff are very helpful at helping you find what you need. They could do with getting easy to push shopping trolleys though.

Lovely kitchens at Wickes. Not that we went for one! We went for decorating materials. There was plenty of choice except for door bells. We only needed a basic one and expect for a wired door bell, they were all high tech. But otherwise, helpful and friendly staff as always.

The most unhelpful bunch of staff I have ever experienced! This was on a Sunday at midday, they couldn't be bothered to talk to me or help me with a simple stock query. They weren't busy and were simply stood at the till. All I asked was if they had a kitchen unit in stock as it said they had 3 online and none on the shelves.

A good shop with better quality merchandise than B&Q. If I need building or DIY gear this is usually where I go. At least 3 times I have had to take stuff back to B&Q because it has failed or is not right. Wicked stuff always saved the day.

Went in for a drain hopper , took the kids , they played in the kitchens, got what i needed , friendly staff , the kids had lots of fun ! Easy visit top marks

It's not as large as B&Q but their selection of kitchens and bathrooms is set up beautifully. When you're getting ready to renovate or go back to brick and redo, their showroom, free catalogues, and samples really help you visualise your space. Also their own brand of tough and washable and grease proof, tough and washable for walls and ceilings or kitchens, is fantastic paint. It covers like a dream and really does let you wipe off finger prints, grease and a whole lot without taking the paint with you.

We've just been with regards to a new kitchen and appliances . Sophie the kitchen and bathroom consultant is superb ,she gave very professional helpful advice and listened to all our requests offering invaluable help which as a result we have now purchased our dream kitchen at a remarkable price.

First go to place for diy things . Reasonable prices and friendly staff .
