Whitworth Park manchester

I love this park because it's right next to the gallery. If you're looking for a cheap day out. Start at the Whitworth, have a break for a picnic lunch then you can take the children to the park. It as exercise park as well so there is something for everyone. My son is a particular fan of the hamster wheel

I liked this garden very much, it's perfect to spend an afternoon with friends or your date.

It is an ok park, pretty naturally maintained, so not overly manicured, which I like, wooden play area which I also like, fairly muddy though due to the natural take on the park grooming.

The greenness and serenity of the park is very welcoming in this cold weather.

This is a lovely inner city park with quite a history connected to the area. A few interesting sculptures have been added around the park as focal points, a nice area set aside for children to play in, as well as an outdoor fitness and exercise area make for areas of the park to visit. There are a number of litter bins available around the park which, unfortunately, some choose not to make use of.

A good one to spend a quality time with kids and family.. squirrels are amazing, takes feed from visitors.. kids must enjoy

Nice place to spend some time while your friend / partner / etc. visits some place nearby (like Curry Mile, Lidl, Manchester Royal Infirmary). I better loiter here, than visit McDonald's, Tim Hortons, etc..

A large park in the heart of Rusholme, close to the Universities. Popular among students and the elderly alike. A large open space for volley ball, Frisbees, or for walking a pet. Adjacent to the Whitworth art gallery. There is also a small play area for kinds with swings and slides, etc. There is a cafe adjoining the gallery too

Very nice park for kids to ride bikes or scooters because the paths are smooth. A few more paths would be beneficial.
