This surgery is appaulling. We all know that nhs funding isn't ideal at the moment and the stress on those within medical professions is ridiculous. However, each time I attempt to book an appointment at this surgery I am told that I have to ring up at 7.30am to get a same day appointment, regardless of the reason for the appointment. I have three issues with this. The first issue is that on more than one occasion the phone has rang (and rang and rang) and I have been unable to get through. Similarly to other people's experience I have gone to the surgery and have been told the 'phones are not working today'. I'm just speculating but I feel they are not always manned. The second issue is on the days I do get through, there are rarely any available appointments. Thirdly, since you can't book advance appointments, the reason you are visiting your GP may mean that you still have work commitments and the available appointments are not suitable (something the receptionists don't seem to sympathise with). The level of care is also below par. Again, this is probably due to lack of funding and not done in malice. However, the GPs at the surgery in my (limited, because I can't seem to get an appointment) experience can't wait to rush you in and out of the appointment. There is no follow up, you find it difficult to see the same GP twice and consequently you will struggle to get anywhere if you have an ongoing issue.

Getting an appointment is hard, I'll get up early, and call all morning to be told I have to repeat again tomorrow morning, still no luck, or its simply engaged, few occasions I called during sitting in the waiting area, to see if anyone answered whilst they was at the desk, the phone was engaged because they took it off the hook so they could have a chat or they ignored it ringing, yes I pulled them about this.... Some doctors are good, some are new and don't seem to understand what's going on, iv been messed around quite a lot here due to seeing new doctors. A certain receptionist can be quite rude others are lovely and greet you full of smiles.

I have been trying to book an appointment for over a year, I have only been able to get a telephone appointment so far that was six month ago. I wish I could book for next week or even sum time in the next month. I just get told to ring at 720 am for an appointment on the day haven't been able to get one of those ever. Its a good job I'm only HIV+ and have no complications that could be serous. probably with a bit of luck.

Chance of getting an appointment is zero to none within 24 hours. I suppose it's down to funding but the that doesnt help patients. Car parking is horrendous. Website could really be massively improved - cluttered and poor layout. GPs tend to be lovely and nurses nice too. It's not like we can choose a different surgery easily but maybe points will be noted.

This used to be a really good, solid, Doctors surgery but the level of service (or more to the point, lack of) has been on the decline for some time now. If you can ever get through the excessively long wait times on the phone then you’re met with a group of receptionists who seem to live in a world where they believe they’re more important than the medical staff; they are abrasive and rude. When you finally manage these hurdles the medical staff are lovely and professional, it’s just getting to that point is a minefield.

This place is no longer offering any kind of service whatsoever, and to be fair it hasn't for a long time now. It's a shame as it used to be a superb surgery with wonderful staff. I honestly don't know how to see a GP anymore. Sad it's come to this

If you need a disabled bay don't use this surgery. Staff from the chemists and surgery's use these spaces for their own use. Nobody ever shows their badges.
