Staff are helpful but could sometimes be abrupt and blunt on a busy day. Practical tip: don’t hang out in the library on a rainy day. People will be smoking near the entrance and the smell of smoke creeps inside. so I transferred seats. Unfortunately there were people who looked to be seeking shelter from the rain on the other side of the room who’s smell bothered me even more. They weren’t even reading a book or trying to look busy with library stuff. Just sitting there chatting away. There are good silent days though, days when you can concentrate on your reading. But you’d probably be better off borrowing books and reading them in the comfort of your own house or in a coffee shop.

Very noisy. Great place to hear other peoples' conversations as phones constantly ring. People don't give a damn about others; when they do answer their phone they speak loudly and the librarians are too overworked or too scared to do anything about it.Staff are, however, kind and helpful.Eight computers - six of which are available for an hour and the other 2 are for 30 minutes. It is closed on Mondays.
