Reported 2 assaults neither one has been dealt with!

Had a note through my door from a member of public advising they had handed in my purse at lost property. Been calling and leaving messages for over a week and still had no response. Single mother and desperatley need it back! Even 101 think it’s a joke as they are the ones trying to put me through! I have even tried tweeting them all week to try and get some form of response. Again nothing even though they are posting there own tweets. Absolutely ridiculous! They will have something to say when I call 999 because the emergency is that I cannot feed my children! Joke, I understand they are busy but this is outrageous!

Ironic if they want speak to you they will do everything they can to get hold you. But if you want to speak to them, the process takes months and they still want to fob you off with an excuse. Beyond useless and very disorganised.

worse police station on GMP, i think they work part time as no one really take any report seriously. prejudice attitude, you have to be white to get their attention.

At the end of the day they are all busy fighting crime and helping the community in doing what they can cannot fault their work.

My window cleaner recently stole a package from my wheelie bin, it was caught on camera, but because the value was £25 it was deemed not in the public interest to persue the crime. I always though a crime was a crime irrespective of value, and am I not a member of the public and is not my granddaughter whose parcel was stolen. It seems like the police only choose higher value crimes to look good and get brownie points. My faith in the police appears to have been misguided
