Wellington Country Park

As a family of 3 we absolutely loved it. Fun for all the family. My little boy is 2.5 yrs & he had the best time. Lots of space for picnics & had so much for kids to do too. Splash park but was a tad too cold for us when we went. Will 100% recommend

Fantastic country park with great attractions for kids, and a lovely lake to walk around. The facilities are of a high standard, and well kept. They have really thought through the different play areas, with lots of variety for kids of different ages. There are some farm animals you can feed, and a lovely little train ride. Plenty of places to grab drinks and a snack, and good toilet facilities. Perfect day out for the little ones.

Really great, fun, family day out with the kids. Lots of different adventure parks and activities for the kids to do. Will definately be going back in the summer with swimming costumes so kids can do the splash park bit and not get worried about getting wet near the water mill/sandpit area! Top tips: Bring waterproofs, wellies, change of clothes and a towel. Lots of areas to picnic. Don't forget to pick up animal feed at the start.

Beautiful natural area with interesting trails (I did the antler walk and saw so many deer!) Although the trails could do with more signposts along the way as it was easy to take a wrong turn. Lots of playgrounds and activities to keep kids of all ages entertained! The only reason for 3 stars is the ticket price. At £16pp for adults and children over 2 (or 3?), it's very overpriced and would work out quite steep for a whole family. I think the annual pass is more reasonable but only works if you go often.

Always a great day out. Very good facilities always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My partner got an annual pass which is great value
