Amazing! Ivy is so lovely and a fabulous hair stylist. I don’t trust people with my hair after having bad experiences in every other salon I have been too, even ones that are supposed to be “renowned” salons, but Weaves World has never left me disappointed. I have been going to Ivy for 3 years now, and I started off with a full unit when my hair was boy short (due to another salon burning my hair off with bleach I was left saddened but ivy managed to achieve my long hair goals) and it was stunning, then over the years I’ve had track weaves sewn in and they are so beautiful, everyone would compliment me on my hair thinking it was all my own lush locks, I could even put my hair in pony tails and you’d never have known I had a weave in, Weaves World is the only place in Glasgow I’d go for, for my weave and hair colour! A very professional salon. I decided to get my hair done for a works party. I had 18 inch hair extensions done for the first time. I was a little nervous, but the setting is very relaxed, and I didn't feel the service was rushed, and I got great advice for styling and keeping my extensions in for as long as possible.

SHOCKING EXPERIENCE!! Juliet Tambo, a South African hair stylist that works from home was recommended to me by Weaves World and it was the worst mistake I have ever made trusting these people. I have never had a weave before and wanted to try it and saved up for months to pay nearly £300 to get it done. I had to travel from Kilmarnock to Springburn in Glasgow to get it done. She hardly spoke to me and had her earphones in speaking on the phone while doing my hair. The process only took about an hour if that and as soon as it was in could see the obvious difference between my hair and the weave but I decided to persevere. Within a week the hair started to matt and get extremely tangled. I got back in touch with Juliet who advised me to get a specific shampoo and conditioner from CostCo. I phoned CostCo who said I must be a member. Juliet decided to give the shampoo to me and said it was £30. I transferred the £30 to her and travelled up to her home getting 2 buses and when I found out from CostCo the original price the total was only £15 for the two. I messaged her and asked for the remaining to be put in my account. She completely snapped at me saying she had a lot going on and eventually put it in. I was extremely upset and thought this is horrible customer service. I got back in touch with her after a while and told her I needed this weave out as the condition was shocking and I had all my family brushing out the knots and ripping out so much hair. She advised me to get a ‘friend’ to take it out for me. When I got I decided I am not getting anywhere with her, I got in touch with Weaves World who recommended her to me in the first place. She explained it was nothing to do with her but would attempt to reach out to her. Juliet then left me a voice message saying ‘she was disappointed I tried to through her under the bus, but life goes on’ - a completely personal and unprofessional messsge to leave as I am not her friend I am a customer who has paid a large number of money for something that is in a terrible condition after only 1 week of having the weave. She advised she cannot return the hair as she has a ‘good relationship’ with the man who supplies the hair. She hung up on me and blocked me. I have still not received any apology, and have eventually had to pay £35 to get the weave taken out from someone else and my own hair is so short I have lost so much hair and gained absolutely nothing! Over £300 I will never see again. Shocking customer service!

Weaves World are great and I can recommend the whole team. Normally I get the ladies to put curls in my hair but recently got a lovely straight blow dry from Claire. My hair felt like velvet and looked immaculate. It stayed straight and glorious for days. I'm going back on Friday for the same again!

Been going to weaves world for a few years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Friendly and professional, Ivy will do her best to accommodate you and you feel welcome. The place gets better and better. I went to get my hair done came out with fan static hair, threaded eyebrows and painted nails. Love this place and if you don't drive then it's easy to reach by train. See for yourself ❤️
