5/ 5

I haven't been to the dentists in years, was very nervous about going, the was no need to be, I made a appointment and went, from the young man at reception, to Victoria the dentist, all great, put me at ease, I should have gone sooner.

2/ 5

Phoned to book an x-ray to be sent to my orthodontist, was told everyone was out of clinic, someone would call me back. They never did. Chased it up again, no return on enquiry. I needed two extractions to be done before my braces, booked the appointment, after two attempts at phoning and finally receiving a call back, I phoned ahead to confirm the cost etc. Turned up and was taken for an x-ray but by this point my orthodontist had already cleared that up. I was then told "You'll be seeing a different dentist than usual"... GREAT! We then discussed my extractions, the dentist suggested towards two teeth completely in the wrong place. I challenged it and so my orthodontist was phoned to make sure. Then the extractions where great in all fairness, quick and comfortable. This is the only thing that gained any form of star rating on the place. Then the second the last tooth was out the chair was up and I was at reception paying my bill which apparently had now more than TRIPPLED. I paid it and left as I couldn't even speak with me being numb. Hideous service. If you're a nervous dental patient, give it a wide birth. I'll be looking at another dentist for future. Considering it's location, Id have expected a much higher rate of service.

  • In Roman times, Newcastle – then called Pons Aelius – was a fort on Hadrian’s Wall, and during the Saxon period, it was known as Monk Chester on account of its many religious houses.
