Warners Bay Hotel newcastle

Very noisy. My meal was undercooked. When finally recooked, had to eat on my own, as my husband had finished his meal. Not a good experience for a birthday dinner. Poker machine room too smokey to enjoy playing. Went home disappointed. Not rushing back.

Booked a twin room was told I booked a queen. Wrong, confirmed the twin room booking. Toilet up against the wall. No power to the room in the morning to even make a cupper. Very poor, bad place to stay.

Had a good night . Band was good , booze even better .

Craig the security guard is a top bloke and looked after a couple Mates that have been for a catch u for at least a month now. Had some altercations and he sorted them. He is fair and a good representation of warners bay hotel.

Good service but food/coffee wasn’t great and not good value for money. Salads are $18-22 and are closer to a side salad portion. Menu is somewhat limited for any dietary preference. Seasoned wedges were tasteless even with added salt though there were lots of them. Coffee was very disappointing as well. The pasta portions looked more generous. If I came back here with a group I’d go for the pasta options would this venue would not be my preference

Had a wonderful sausage and mash meal whilst the wife had an excellent Thai beef salad… delicious 😋

Quite nice food and surrounds.. Staff very attentive
