First time at the Walker Gallery. We were short of time so didn’t have the opportunity to visit all the rooms but the areas we did see were excellent, I will definitely return to check it out properly. Staff really friendly and helpful. The jewel in the crown at the moment is the Rennie Mackintosh exhibit. I have seen several Mackintosh exhibits before. This is one the best. Amazing range of furniture, some beautiful posters and some truly fascinating drawings and plans for buildings designed. If you are in Liverpool I recommend you go to see it. There is a separate charge but entirely worth it.

There is a wide variety of art that will please everyone taste. It is wheelchair friendly, family friendly and they provide activities for children. There is a cafe in the centre along with a gift shop. Staff are locate all there the rooms to help or answer any questions you might have. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. A must if you are in Liverpool!

We went here for the Rennie Mackintosh exhibition, and it was amazing! I can't recommend it highly enough, if you're interested in his work and that of his contemporaries. We wandered past some thought provoking paintings outside of this exhibition, and got to lay hands on a Rodin and a Henry Moore. Bliss.

Always a delight to visit. Can't say that either of the exhibits of As seen on screen, or the John Moore's art winners were particularly inspiring, but do l9ve lots of the paintings there, the clothes exhibition was interesting. Some of the clothes and embroidery were very good. Lots of hard work. The coffee is good in the cafe.

Today we visited The Walker Gallery for the second time, with our 7y/o, and there really is something for everyone! The building itself is incredibly grand and impressive, and the range of art work and exhibits are equally impressive! There are plenty of activities, and a children's room on the ground floor, and staff are pleasant, informative, and helpful. Liverpool really is blessed with museums and galleries, and poor weather need not spoil your visit.
