W Carter & Son salisbury

I used W Carter & Son for a bespoke commission engagement ring. I had them replicate a ring that was over 100 years old. All the staff were amazingly helpful. I spoke mainly with Paulette who understood every detail of my request and when changes needed to be made they were dealt with quickly and communicated clearly. The quality of the ring was amazing and the work that went into making the ring was honestly beyond what I ever expected. I cannot recommend W Carter & Sons enough. I will never use another jeweller. This has made me a customer for life.

W Carter & Son helped me to mend my engagement ring when several other local jewellers said it was not possible. I am beyond impressed with their professionalism, customer service and quality of work. So thankful!

Really disappointed to be honest, my girlfriends elderly mother took my Breitling watch into Carters for a battery change, i understood that it needed to be sent off and was told that it would be ready for collection on Friday the 17th of September, my girlfriend on the Friday (no call from Carters) rang to ensure everything was going according to schedule and the rather unhelpful lady just said "Oh sorry the gent who does our battery changes needs to keep hold of the watch a little longer as it was running a little slow ( Again i need to mention that if my girlfriend had driven the 20km to get the watch it would of been a totally wasted journey, when i was told this i then called in to see what was actually going on and was not overwhelmed with the response i received. Then on Friday the 24th the revised day of pick up my girlfriends mother received a call saying that the watch was now ready, however no mention was made by the staff member that Carters shuts at 4pm on a Friday, very poor customer service and my girlfriend did indeed drive from Sherfield English to Salisbury with absolutely no idea of the early closing time...An absolute waste of a journey when all she needed to be told was she needed to be there before 4pm....Very poor service for literally a change of battery on a Breitling watch...I'll take my business elsewhere in future, not just because of the timescale involved but also because of the terrible communication we received from Carters...

Excellent service from Paulette and the friendly staff at W.Carter and Son. We have been customers for many years and can highly recommend them to anyone.
