Absolutely wonderful little book shop hidden away in Glasgow. I could have spent all day in here look at the old books. Real old world feel with all the prices written in the books in pencil and no electronic tills. Loved the cats just sleeping on the books. Loved everything about this little shop.

This bookshop is a mess. You might be able to find a gem or two in here if you're willing to play book Jenga with stacks as high as you are, but they probably won't be in great condition. All of the shelves are loaded two-deep with books and you can't get to the bottom half of them because of the books on the floor in front of them. They are vaguely piled into categories, but the labels on the shelves seem to be more like suggestions than actual sections.

It's a nice place, a must go place if you've ever dreamed of being surrounded by piles and piles of books all around. However, I kind of pitied the books. They were stacked over each other everywhere and not just one row before the shelves, but at least three - four stacks before every shelf. You could only see the books before you, and It'd be hell trying to find something remotely specific. If you have loads of time on your hands, then maybe you could even find a few treasures. While this place did have a Wow! effect on me, it's not my kind of bookstore.

A wonderful cavern of delights, with rows and piles of vaguely sorted literature and books of all kinds, ancient and modern. Beware if you're expecting library-quality referencing, but if you enjoy a good browse you'll have a great time.

My boyfriend and I both love books and decided to visit this place following an impromptu day in glasgow. Sooo many books, hard to get my head around them BUT such a cool place. Owners were friendly and I left with two great books. Will definitely be back. A definite hidden gem.
