The pool changing rooms were refurbished a year again and have now finally been sorted out with adequate drainage so the floors are not an inch deep in water which is great. The pool itself however is a different story. I went with my family last weekend after not visiting for 6 months or so. The walkway around the pool was unbelievably slippery. My 9 year old fell over simple walking fro, the changing rooms to the pool. It turns out that a month or two ago, the walkways has been ‘deep cleaned’ which has left the very slippery. Staff at the pool assured me that it’d get less slippery as the tiles got a bit dirtier - yuck! The pool itself hasn’t been cleaned as the bottom, especially the deep end is coated in a blue-green powdery slime. You can see foot prints and hand prints in the filth. It is nasty. I won’t be visiting again any time soon that’s for sure. Needs a serious clean and high grip walkway mats laying down.
