Vivace summer school is a great way for children and young people to entertain themselves during the summer holidays. They get to learn new skills and stay active through dancing and singing and will make good friends outside their usual school peer groups. My daughter went to the summer school this year and had such a brilliant time and make new friends. It doesn't really matter if the musical during the week is not to your child's taste - they will enjoy the experience of auditioning for parts (if they want to), rehearsals, and all the hard work, team effort and camaraderie that goes into putting a show together. As parents you can help by going through lines with your child and finding the musical numbers online to help your child practise. It's always astonishing how good the performance is on the last day, thanks to the efforts of the students, teaching and admin staff and parents and carers.
